Urban Redesign

One week left to have your say on RegenOxted consultation

We're still really keen to hear residents, businesses and visitors views on the urban redesign project for Station Road East and West, as well initial designs for the gasholder redevelopment.

The exhibitions at the Council Offices, Oxted and Oxted library include initial designs and give information about the next steps for the provision of additional parking and business start-up and office space. All this information is also available at www.regenoxted.com

Jacqueline Gold visits the RegenOxted exhibition

We were delighted that Old Oxted resident and business owner Jacqueline Gold visited the Council Offices last week to offer her full support to the RegenOxted projects, including the urban redesign scheme and the gasholder's redevelopment. Leader of the Council, Councillor Martin Fisher showed Jacqueline the conceptual drawings produced by urban design consultants Greer Pritchard and explained St William's initial proposals for the gasholder's redevelopment.

The exhibition at the Council Offices and Oxted library will be open until Friday 23rd June where you can fill out feedback forms for the gasholder redevelopment and urban redesign project, as well as get updates on the parking review in Oxted.

RegenOxted Launch Event

On Thursday 25th May, representatives from Tandridge District Council, Love Oxted BID, Surrey County Council and St William property developers launched the RegenOxted programme and consultation. More than 60 people came to see the proposals and designs, spoke to representatives and gave their feedback on the scheme.

There's still plenty of time to give your feedback on the urban redesign project and the gasholder redevelopment. You can also visit the exhibition at the Council Offices or Oxted library to view the displays and complete feedback forms.

The consultation for both projects will run until 23rd June. Your feedback will help inform the work on more detailed designs
